#pulledhamstring #slippeddisc

After only three weeks of study with Tru Stories, our girls are turning into quite the little yogis. They came home tonight showing off their most impressive pose to date, The Cobra.

(Tru Stories, your students were pulled out of bed for this pictures so their form may be a little off. Also, I made them hold each pose for a ridiculous amount/number of times to get a good picture.)

Yoga prowess, it appears, is not hereditary as The General and I quickly learned that Cobra is not something at which we excel (see also: future stories about office visits to chiropractors and orthopedic surgeons). We are however quite proficient at lesser known poses like Turtle Flipped On Its Shell and Hibernating Bear.

If you'd like to take a peak at Shortcake, Punkin, and all their cute little yoga practicing friends, come check out Dwight's Doggone Good BBQ Contest and Spring Festival where they will be putting on a short demonstration showcasing of all the great things they are learning on Tuesday nights. They will be taking the stage on Saturday, May 5th at 11:30 am.

I'm positive my feet did not touch my head during cobra.
I love to see little kids doing yoga. They are so amazing. It is going to be a wonderful day Saturday.

This pose is actually called The Swan for Kids.
I just told them to start in The Cobra... and maybe they weren't listening for the rest.
But your girls BY FAR were the best at The Swan.
Shortcake also rocks a pretty mean Lotus.

But the brief paragraph were you renamed the pose via you and General attempts...
Best thing I have read on any yoga blog, anywhere on the internet... since Munchkin's infamous yoga post.
Good stuff.
Thanks for the shout-out.
