Joy Is Found In The Simplest Things

Today I made good on a two week long promise to let the girls play at the park by taking them to my school's playground after picking them up from the sitter's. The excitement they radiated as they ran toward the equipment was electric. It's nice to have one of those parenting moments when even though you really haven't done much at all you still feel like you've just given your children everything they could have ever wished for. Leave it to our girls to remind me that there is joy to be found even in life's simplest moments.

It is always the children that remind us of simple pleasures! How lucky we all are to have children to remind us. Our children, siblings children, children's children. That is what it is about.
